MEMORIES AND MOMENTS

Memories, moments, lifestyle, simsrandomramble, dramas, Korean dramas, music

I know I've been MIA for a while (while being an understatement) but I guess I'm back. Not making any promises,
But,

Hiiiiii!!!!

Its been quite a while, hasn't it? It literally feels like I blinked and it's already six months gone of 2018.
I've graduated since and been through hell and back, learnt a whole lot of stuff about just everything (be grateful for what you have people)
This is just a little catch up blog post about what I've been up too so far, maybe even a favorites.

Books
I've been reading a lot for a while now (perks of having vacations) but one book that's still stuck in my head is definitely Without Merit - Colleen Hoover I mean how and why does she do it. It's  always that her books are so unpredictable (in the best way OBVIOUSLY) but if I could I would give out one book to everyone I know because this book deals with such an important issue. When you read the plot it seems like a book of just another girl dealing with issues but it's so not that ordinary.

Dramas
Okay *sigh*
Those who know me, they're well aware that I'm miserably obsessed with korean dramas. (Sorry Mom)
That stage where you can't help but involuntarily talk in korean (what broken Korean language you've picked up) yeah I'm at that stage.
What I'm watching right now
Something in the rain
Weightlifting fairy Kim bok Joo
And am gonna start Bride of Haebak (yes Honey I will)

Music
I'll just give you the playlist
Forever Young - Blackpink
Du Du Du - Blackpink
Stand by your man - Tammy Wynette (Blame it on Something in the rain)
If we ever meet again - Timbaland ft. Katy Perry (it's not new but a personal favorite)

Memories
I've hung out with friends (it's seriously laughable, the amount of times I meet my friends but ok) and collected few memories, its always nice to sit around, joke and laugh once in a while but these memories have really had me quite obsessed with Polaroids (ahh you should see my Pinterest πŸ˜‚)

Anyways that's all for today.
Thanks a lot for sticking around for so long.
I'll try and post as much as possible.
Show this post some love, comment down below about what you're loving currently.
And if you love kdramas please I'm open for discussion πŸ˜‚.
I really hope you enjoyed this post.
Hope you have a great rest of your week.
Byeee.

Weekly Obsessions Part 2

Books, Korean drama's, she was pretty, songs, Fifth Harmony, BTS, word porn

Hiiiii you guys!!!!!

Good Morning.

I know you're feeling the #mondayblues , I'm feeling a bucket load of it as well. I mean it's Monday for crying out loud.

But no worries I've still got a post for you.

This week even though I'm in the middle of back-to-college-week, most of you know how stressful it can be; but these weekly obsessions are something I can't ever leave, sorry nope.

Books
This week I've been reading two books, The Bad boy and the Tom Boy - I know how cheesy but this book is actually funny and since it has around 86 chps (I've been reading it for a while now), and the next is Ocean Deep, Note to this author : UPDATE SOON BECAUSE THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME.
Also Without Merit - Colleen Hoover is out, it's on my wishlist.

Songs
I'm just gonna give it to you like my mini playlist.
He like that - Fifth Harmony.
DNA - BTS.
Mic Drop - BTS.
Best of me - BTS. (It's mainly BTS)
Dusk till Dawn - Zayn & Sia (The notes, Dear God!!!).

Shows
This week I've been obsessed with Korean drama's (even though one of my friend tells me I take ages to finish a whole season - I just like to take my time also the networks too slow lol) anyways,
I'm currently watching She was pretty and The Heirs (I can multitask well mom it just has to be something I like)

Writing.
This week there have been lot of celebrations, which means lot of family time also I've been on a vacation so I've been home more than usual. So I just wrote something for this lovely lot.
"A family may be dysfunctional

But they are the only pieces that can solve your puzzle

The only pieces that hold you together
The only pillars that hold you tall
The only parts that complete your picture.
They'd bend your vices untill it breaks
And mould your strengths so you don't shake
A family may be dysfunctional
But they're perfect for you."

Alrighty!
I think that's it!
I'm sorry the posts are so abrupt.
But I'm just caught up in things right now.
Hope you enjoyed this post.
Let me know in the comments what are your weekly obsessions.
I'll cya next Monday :)

FOR THE LOVE OF BOOKS.

Confess, Colleen Hoover, divergent, Veronica Roth, the last leaf, o Henry, all the bright places, Jennifer Niven, beautiful disaster, Jamie McGuire, books , love, writing, nivels
No bragging but I've read way too many books by now, so books is a natural topic that comes to my mind every time I begin a post, and any excuse to write a book post, honey! I'll take itπŸ˜‚

So todayyyyy! I'll be telling you about a few of the books I've read over the years that I loved (these are not my favourites but I love them) and you should read them, because I'm saying so (just kidding) it's because you'll love it.

Confess (Colleen Hoover πŸ™) this book always, always probably forever will be on top of my list, it's even converted into a show if you wanna watch it. It's about an artist (Owen) and a girl (Auburn) who lost her love at a young age and then how they meet and how their lives are already connected all that stuff is really amazing.

"There are people you meet that you get to know then there are people you meet that you already know"

All the bright places (if you've read this book you know what and why it kills you) now this book is about a very skinny boy who's a bit different than most (Finch) and a girl(violet) who's pretending to be just like most but is fed of it because there's some grief she can't handle.

"The problem with people is they forget that most of the time it's the small things that count."

Divergent now to most people this book is very casual idk why, but this book is very inspiring if you actually pay attention to it; also it's quite exciting because of all the action (jumping out of trains and all you see). It's basically about the existence of 5 factions and then every child at 16 has to pick one and so it's a journey of Beatrice and how she picks a faction and survives.

"Becoming fearless is not the point. That's impossible. It's learning how to control your fear and how to be free from it."

The Last Leaf yeah I know it's a bit odd one but I've never been able to get this story out of my head, it's about a very sick lady depending on the fall of leaves to finish her journey of life.
"Because I want to see the last leaf fall.
I have done enough waiting. I have done enough thinking. I want to go sailing down, down, like one of those leaves."

Beautiful Disaster now I know most people are like (come on really?!) Haha lol sorry I told this is not a typical list. I love this book to bits and all the other parts, (eagerly waiting for the other parts Jamie McGuire if you happen to read this). It's the first in this genre that I ever read (as far as I can remember) It's about two people Abby and Travis (Goals!!!!) with very troubled past and how their lives intertwine or Travis makes them entangle.

" I belong to my beloved, my beloved is mine"

Well these are a few books that I love, that I highly recommend you read them, like right now!!
Let me know in the comments which book your reading right now.
I hope you have a lovely week.
I'll see ya next week. :)

IF PEOPLE WERE BOOKS.

Books, People

Oh boy! If I owned a book for every type of person I've ever known, yeah just know my bookshelf would make you giddy.
But what if people were real books (in a way they are), life would have been so simple, you could read them so easily. (And also you would know which ones to 'not' to read)
The kind of people that you absolutely love/like are like the books that you pick up to read and can't keep it down untill you have finished it completely and probably have gone back again to read your favourite bits.
The kind that annoy the-you-know-what out of you (I'm still deciding if I wanna swear here so yeah) they would be the books that you fail to like regardless of the numerous re-reading of paragraphs.
The kind of people you can't ever figure out; they would be the books that you fail to understand 'even' after you've finished reading the entire book (more so the authors perspective doesn't help too).
The unexpected people that surprise you (in a good or bad way, you know things can go both ways) are exactly like the books that have a weird twist where your favourite fictional character dies or probably comes back to life after death.
The people who you get caught up with when you shouldn't have are the books that you regret reading but oh well the book cover was oh so very attractive (at least that's what you thought then).
Last but never the least the people that stuck around you regardless of the fact that sometimes they got on your nerves are like my favourite kind of books that never go the way you want but always teach you a lesson or two.(for me that book was 'It ends with us - Colleen Hoover' you should read it you'll know what I'm saying). This suddenly got very deep okhayy.

Anyways I hoped you liked that little comparison, was something different for me to write about (I'll tell you that).
Let me know in the comments below what book you're reading right now and if you have any recommendations that you can share I'd love to read and I'll be replying.
I'll be here next Monday.
Hope you have an amazing week. :)

WHAT BOOKS TAUGHT ME.

I used to love reading books as a kid, especially in our English text book towards the end there were excerpts of novels and I used to love those. But then teenage happened and then; short forms and slangs happened (oh God when I read my old Facebook posts or texts I cringe so bad). Fortunately, I got back to reading novels properly (not just excerpts) since then lots has changed and there's so much I've learned.
And that is,
That my vocabulary was not that great (It's become better now) ; speaking/typing in short forms is stupid (sorry not sorry) like I can't speak in slangs at all now - I don't even know most of them.
Then come expectations - not every romantic novel ends happily and not every situation can be miraculously solved.(But it still hurts when the leads in the books are not together). That sometimes everything is "not" gonna be ok in the end.
Books are never gonna be like the movies because they are better than them (You're always gonna be sitting in the theatre saying 'oh but it was not suppose to be like that').
Also there is the whole perception part - there is more to a person than just the face. (There is always a reason/back story - Think before judging); That there are so many more dimensions to look at when is comes to falling in love or just love in general. If you read books you are going to turn into an empathetic person whether you want it or not.
Authors can be ruthless and kill your favourite character 'when needed' (yes - no mercy). It's ironic but books are the only thing that will give you peace and they are also gonna ruin it (because you're up till 3 in the morning thinking why did Finch have to die).
The art of saving money - is something you're gonna be a pro at because you want that book, but also that same art is going to be thrown out the window of the bookstore you just entered.
But come on all this is ok because we love books (simple as that).

So there it is, books have really thought me a lot (in all the good ways). Let me know in the comments if you relate on any of this or your weird funny moments because you're a bookworm, I'll be reading and replying here.
Will be posting next Monday.
Hope you have a lovely week. :)
